Scratching the Surface
The monument markings are in the Ogham script, an early medieval alphabet used in Ireland and the Celtic fringes of Britain in the 4th to 9th century AD. The surviving monuments almost all just record names and titles. Fortunately for us, this script is late enough to be cross-recorded in languages we know - unlike similar situations for Etruscan or Indus valley scripts.
Ogham writing is not entirely lost to us - this is an even less appropriate and attractive look for a tattoo than usual. Curvy and sinuous calligraphy works better with the human anatomy.
Roger follows the traditional bottom-to-top scripting direction, and we can read off:
SECOND
KEY
DRUIDS
TREE
With the druid's tree, we have covered the second new active area in the current four lock gate - I include the graphic with color accents here now. Roger has included in his instructions several times to always watch out for phi, "our guide". So Roger is aware that many of us will be watching out for the "option-command" indications. Wonder what that will mean for us in the future - probably that we will be able to lean on this clue less and less as we move on in the game ...
One more item to review - when we were investigating the '666' path of the game, we would frequently run into the demon graphic as we were kicked out of the game. Here is the graphic - and we can appreciate it in more detail than the momentary glimpse we had when it was flashing by in the game. You can see the dim outlines of the jukebox behind him.
Is the deviltry in the game easing up? We will start to see, next time ...
