Lord of the Cosmic Dance

On 'ZBS-Lotus-Eye' entry, you are brought to the Shiva panel. Shiva is one of the three major deities in Hindu mythology - the god of destruction.

I have found a copy of this exact representation of Shiva at the Cleveland Museum of Art:
Some other views of this statue (dated ca. 1000) can be found at:

Notice the back view - in most other Shiva statues, Shiva's dance is so energetic that his hair stands out to the sides, but on this one, looks like the hair 'halo' has been broken off!

Every detail here has meaning to the faithful. The ring of fire and the flame of destruction Shiva holds in his leftmost hand stands for the upcoming destruction of the world. The drum in his rightmost hand beats out the time we all have left to live in. The other right hand is extended in an offering of peace to his followers, and the other left hand is pointing to his foot, indicating devotion is the right attitude to get through the coming times. A busy dance.

When you look at the statue, there are all sorts of mounting holes here and there on it. Wonder what was attached, back in the day. Maybe losing all that exposed the basic beauty and simplicity of the design - like how Greek statues were painted back in the day, but now we see them in the stark, perfect simplicity of the stonework by itself.

Roger edits out the compelling detail of Shiva dancing on the little guy! - who symbolizes ignorance. He does have a serene expression, although his eyes do pop out a little bit. The museum points out that he is holding a snake in one hand, and he is pointing at Shiva with the other. More busyness.

When you enter the answer to the rather simple riddle at this step, you are moved to the next puzzle. More about that, next time.

As an extra, here is the last unseen saying graphic in the WoW Hypercard stack. Did Roger forget about these, or was he fiddling with the blank patterns to present a message? STILL wondering about that ...
